The room sizes feel cramped, with little privacy and shared terraces!!! The bathroom design is poorly planned and lacks basic cleanliness standards!!! More accessible features would enhance guest convenience greatly!!!

What a delightful stay! We loved the private beach area where we could paddleboard and relax, and the stunning views from our room were breathtaking. The hosts made us feel welcome, even providing a tasty cake for afternoon tea and delicious breakfast options every day.

My wife says that more kid-friendly activities would be great.

koura lodge is a lovely spot with amazing views of the lake. our premium suite was clean, well-equipped, and the beds were super comfy. the breakfast on the terrace was fantastic, and simon really went the extra mile to ensure we were happy. plus, the private beach area with sun loungers was such a nice bonus!

We had an amazing stay with friends, enjoying the private beach and hot tub. We visited the local attractions and found the freshly made breakfast to be a highlight. The scenic views of the lake added to the relaxation after a fun day outdoors.

One downside was that our room was quite hot without air conditioning, making it uncomfortable at times.

This place was a good pick for a relaxing holiday in Rotorua with great value for money. The breakfast was very good, set me up for the day. Make sure to book a taxi in advance to get to dinner since it's not offered on-site.
